Pluto Bar in Lefkas
Pluto Bar is a floating barge moored on Lefkas town quay, an arrangement you would normally find in London Docklands or Brighton Marina in the UK. Its location affords a grand view of hundreds of yachts that are moored within Lefkas Marina and Lefkas town quay.

Sitting on top of this floating barge sheltered from the sun. Café del Mar melodies and James Blunt drift through the air. Listening to the music, the marina being a stone throw away, the slow purposeful movements of the yachts below becomes hypnotic. Liveaboard yachts and their sun-weathered appearance are easily distinguished between the newer hired yachts gleaming in the sun.
Motor boats especially the big ones tend to be a rule of their own when moving about in a confined space, as their owners intentions can be quite impulsive. Money talks I guess.

Chocolate brownies, Cheesecake with vanilla ice cream perfectly chilled are placed before my eyes (They have every combination of the Rossi range). Its take discipline not to gulp down the lot in this heat. Seated in one of its lounge chairs you could easily watch the world go by. Situated above street level there is always a cooling breeze that will comfort you in the excessive heat of the day.
Pluto Bar could is a world away from touristic Taverna and makes no attempt to adopt Greek touristic culture. It’s unashamedly a convenient Lounge bar to relax in, an out of the way watering hole conveniently located on the town quay.
